Considered among the earliest pioneers of Fiber-To-The-Home engineering and business planning. Developed FTTH businessplans for European cities and operators, including Leeuwarden, Rotterdam, Amsterdam (Netherlands), and Moscow (Russia). Previously responsible for Bredband Benelux, part of Swedish FTTH pioneering company BredbandBogalet. Has also served as Scientific Advisor for Dutch incumbent KPN research. Part of FiberBroadband Strategy team since 2005.
